Relationships in Recovery
Friday 15th to Sunday 17th November
Waihōanga River Lodge and Retreat, Ōtaki
Peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature
The Wellington fellowship is organising a weekend retreat to gain strength, hope and new insight into our recovery, by sharing our recovery experiences. This is a perfect opportunity to reflect on our recovery progress, in a beautiful native bush setting.
The theme of the retreat is ‘Relationships in Recovery’. The programme is designed for people at all different stages of recovery, with sessions by different members of the fellowship.
The annual retreat is a great way to meet other people in recovery - with opportunities to meet as a whole fellowship, in small groups, or by taking time to just hang out and go for walks.
For the full programme click here.
When?
The camp will start with a light meal from 6pm Friday 15th November and conclude after lunch at 2pm Sunday 17th November 2024.
Traffic: Beware that the traffic out of town is busy on Friday nights!
Where?
We will stay at Waihōanga River Lodge and Retreat, which is a bit over one hour’s drive north of Wellington.
The Waihōanga Lodge has been running as a retreat centre for a number of years and hosts community events, retreats, workshops, school camps and family gatherings. It is a place for the community to offer events which enhance well-being within the many layers of mind, body and spirit.
